Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan reported on cases of COVID-19 in schools and kindergartens


In Kazakhstan, 16 cases of coronavirus infection were identified among children in on-duty classes of schools and kindergartens, official representative of the Ministry of Health of the Republic Baghdat Kojakhmetov said at a briefing on September 25. According to him, cases of coronavirus among children were revealed in two regions of the republic. All educational institutions where the infection was detected are closed, the representative of the Ministry of Health said. He added that all family members and contacts of the teacher, children from other groups and classes were transferred to home quarantine. Kojakhmetov said that ten tolerate COVID-19 in easy form. According to the news agency, from September 1 to 24 in schools of the East Kazakhstan region revealed ten cases of coronavirus infection among schoolchildren.
