First victims: Typhoon Maysak rages in Primorye

The victims of Typhoon Maysak in Primorye were two local residents - they worked on a floating crane, which was carried to the shallow by hurricane winds. Another man received a serious head injury in Vladivostok. In total, due to a hurricane raging in this region for the first time in 50 years, about 150 thousand people were left without light. The authorities are discussing the introduction of the regional emergency regime, since the element still does not lose its grip.

The court determined a preventive measure to the son of the ex-prime minister of Georgia

On August 4, the Tbilisi city court issued a preventive measure to the son of the former Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Zhvania, Bessarion Zhvania, and awarded him detention. The defense at the meeting demanded his release on bail in the amount of 50,000 lari, which the court did not agree with. According to the prosecutor's office of Georgia, Bessarion (Busa) Zhvania is accused of trying to intentionally kill the grandson of Georgian businessman Gogi Topadze Levan Topadze. In the house of the latter, which the prosecutor's office recognized as injured, Busa Zhvania stabbed Levan Topadze several times, as a result of which he is still in serious condition, in intensive care, after several operations.
