US Senate introduced a bill to increase military assistance to Ukraine


The bill, which involves an increase to $300 million in annual financial assistance for military needs to Ukraine, was presented by a group of senators from the Republican and Democratic Parties of the United States, reports Reuters on July 30. The document also provides for the allocation of $4 million each year for the training of Ukrainian military personnel. Now the amount of annual American military assistance to Ukraine is about $250 million. In addition, the authors of the document provided for an item on the creation of a working group on Ukraine with a number of European allies. According to the news agency, in early July in the House of Representatives of the US Congress proposed to increase the amount of military assistance to Ukraine to $275 million.
