Military in Egypt reported on special operation in Sinai


Egypt's military destroyed 126 fighters in recent operations in the Sinai Peninsula, Reuters reported on May 3. According to an army report, the military lost 15 men killed and wounded during the operations. There is no information on civilian casualties. A special operation against radical Islamists in Sinai has been under way for several years.
