Increase in new cases of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan amounted to 3.3%


The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in Mangistau region of Kazakhstan has increased over the past 24 hours by 13.8%. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic Elzhan Birtanov at the government meeting on May 5. According to him, Mangistau region has the largest increase in cases of infection. In total, 129 new cases have been found in the last 24 hours, including 33 in Almaty and 20 in West Kazakhstan region. The increase was 3.3%, the Minister noted.
