Coronavirus threat: Latvia to increase disinfectant production

Due to the spread of coronavirus, Latvian balzams began producing 20 tons of disinfectant per day for hands and any surfaces, exclusively for the Latvian market. This is written by Tvnet. It is noted that at the moment the package of orders for this goods amounted to 130 tons. Representatives of the management of the enterprise say that they plan to produce 200 tons of disinfectant, as demand from companies, large trading networks and individuals is constantly increasing. According to the news agency, an emergency regime was introduced in Latvia from 13 March to 14 April.

On August 4, the Tbilisi city court issued a preventive measure to the son of the former Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Zhvania, Bessarion Zhvania, and awarded him detention. The defense at the meeting demanded his release on bail in the amount of 50,000 lari, which the court did not agree with. According to the prosecutor's office of Georgia, Bessarion (Busa) Zhvania is accused of trying to intentionally kill the grandson of Georgian businessman Gogi Topadze Levan Topadze.
