In February, the turnover of retail trade in Latvia in actual prices decreased

According to the Central Statistical Office (CSO) in February, retail turnover, compared to 2019, increased by 5%, writes the portal LSM. Food trade grew by 3%, fuel by 0.9%, non-food items by 8.2%. If we compare the trade turnover in February with January, the growth is estimated at 3.5%. Food plus 0.7%, non-food items 5.4%, combustible by 4.7%. However, taking into account the seasonality factor and when recalculated in actual prices, compared to January, the retail turnover in Latvia decreased by 1.8%.

Coronavirus threat: Latvia to increase disinfectant production

Mass media: Mauritius recorded the first cases of COVID-19

The three first cases of infection with the new coronavirus were recorded in the territory of the island state of Mauritius, on March 19 reports Reuters with reference to the government of the country.
