Serbian Prime Minister discusses cooperation with Czech Ambassador

On September 28, at a meeting with Czech Ambassador to Serbia Tomas Kuht, Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabic emphasized that relations between the two countries are strong and stable, which primarily contributes to open dialogue and frequent bilateral visits at the highest level. A statement by the Serbian government said that Anna Brnabic handed the ambassador a letter to the Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade Karel Havlicek, which emphasizes the importance for Czech investors of strengthening economic cooperation with Serbia. This was reported by the Serbian news agency RTS. Brnabic noted that fiscal consolidation and long-term macroeconomic stability create a favorable economic climate and additional security for all foreign companies that want to invest in Serbia. Ambassador Kuhta pointed out that most Czech investments were made in the field of telecommunications and real estate in Serbia, as well as in the banking, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.
