Citizens of the Russian Federation warned of more frequent cases of refusal to enter Turkey
The expiring validity of a foreign passport is increasingly becoming the reason for the Turkish authorities to refuse entry into the country for Russian citizens, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya reports on its Facebook page. Such cases come from Russia more and more at the airports of the Turkish cities of Antalya, Dalaman and Milyas. Diplomats noted that the validity of the passport should be at least 120 days from the moment of entry into Turkey. This takes into account the right of Russian citizens to a visa-free stay in this country for 60 days. According to the news agency, on September 4, the chairman of the delegation of the Russian-Turkish Business Council, Akhmet Palankoev, said that by the end of 2020 about 3 million Russian tourists could visit Turkey, which is almost half as much as last year.
