Morocco dispatched six aircraft with assistance for Lebanon
Humanitarian and medical assistance to Lebanon due to the explosion in Beirut was sent by the Moroccan authorities, according to Maghreb Arabe Presse. Six aircraft flew to the Lebanese capital, four from an airport near Casablanca and two from a military base in Kenitra. They must deliver medicines, food, essential goods, as well as tents, blankets, medical equipment and protective equipment. In addition, Morocco is planning to open a military field hospital in Beirut, which will employ 100 people, including 14 doctors. According to the news agency, on August 6, the Croatian government decided to transfer 100 thousand euros to Lebanon as financial assistance.
