Co-owner of RESO promised to compensate for damage to Azerbaijani business in Moscow

Russian billionaire Sergei Sarkisov, who is a co-owner of the RESO insurance group, called on representatives of the Armenian and Azerbaijani diaspora to stop the riots in Moscow that occurred amid the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. His statement on July 26 leads RBC. In his statement, Sarkisov notes that he is ashamed of those who unleashed a barbaric manifestation of their nationalism far from their homeland, beating or killing people simply because they are of a different nationality. He also points out that it is necessary to stop those who, from outside Russia, provoke relatives to extremism. At the same time, Sarkisov reports that his family is ready to compensate the damage to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs whose property in Moscow was damaged by the actions of vandals and expresses the hope that Azerbaijani entrepreneurs, for their part, will agree with him and compensate for the damage that Armenian entrepreneurs suffered due to riots in Moscow. It should be noted, as reported by the news agency, on July 24 it became known that over 25 people were detained by the police on the night of July 23-24 in the Maryino area in southeastern Moscow for a series of hooliganism and robbery that occurred against the background of the aggravated Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
