Car company Isuzu in Ulyanovsk released a 35,000th chassis

The Isuzu Rus auto enterprise in Ulyanovsk has assembled the 35,000th Isuzu chassis since production began in July 2006. This was reported by the press service of the Japanese company. The jubilee model was Isuzu Forward 12.0 Air Suspension. The Japanese enterprise is located on the territory of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The power of Isuzu Rus is enough to produce the entire model line of Isuzu cargo chassis, which includes: low-tonnage, medium-tonnage and heavy brand trolleys. The total capacity of the automobile plant is 5,000 units per year. Recall that two years ago Isuzu entered into a special investment contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ulyanovsk Region. It aims to create a new joint product in the segment of medium-capacity trucks, as well as to export it through the Isuzu dealership network abroad. It is worth noting that the amount of investment in the project will exceed 6 billion rubles. Of these, 1.3 billion will go to research and development.
