Pushkov appreciated Poroshenko's words about the unique chance of Ukraine to return Crimea

The statement of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko that Kiev has a unique chance to return Crimea in connection with the deep crisis in Russia due to the coronavirus pandemic and falling oil prices was assessed by Russian senator, member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov. He posted the corresponding entry on June 27 on his page on the social network Twitter. Ukraine has no chance to return Crimea, Pushkov wrote, noting that Poroshenko may not talk about a unique chance for his country. In addition, the Russian senator indicated that neither the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic nor oil prices could affect this circumstance. In 1991, history gave Ukraine a unique chance to keep Crimea in its composition, the politician also clarifies and adds that the Ukrainian side did not take this chance and forever lost the peninsula. Note, as the news agency reported, earlier the ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced a chance to force Russia to leave the Donbass and the Crimea, which allegedly appeared in connection with the fall in GDP and a deep crisis.
