Heavy rain with a thunderstorm hit Warsaw, flooded ministry buildings
The buildings of the three ministries were flooded as a result of heavy rains with a thunderstorm that hit the capital of Poland, the city of Warsaw. This was announced to reporters on June 29 by the representative of the Mazovets commandant of the state fire guard, junior brigadier Karol Kezhkovsky. According to Kezhkovsky, as a result of the passage of a thunderstorm front through the Masovian Voivodeship in Warsaw, 180 incidents were recorded. Premises in the buildings of the Ministry of the Family, Labour and Social Policy, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the Ministry of the Environment were flooded. In addition, many streets, basements and underground garages in the districts of Mokotow, Volya, Sredmestye and Jolibozh were flooded in the city.
