U.S. State Department thanked South Korean authorities for providing protective masks
The U.S. Department of State expressed gratitude to the South Korean government for providing two million protective masks. This is reported by KBS with reference to a message published on May 11 in the account of the Bureau of East Asia and the Pacific on Twitter. The report also noted the importance of international cooperation in combating the coronavirus pandemic and the strength of the bilateral alliance. Recall that on May 11, an American plane delivered two million protective masks to the United States as part of assistance to combat coronavirus. Previously, the South Korean government provided the United States with 750,000 coronavirus diagnostic kits on a paid basis. According to the news agency, Harry Harris, U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, had previously thanked the South Korean government.
