29 more died of COVID-19 in Egypt

Another 29 people with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 died in Egypt in the last 24 hours, reports on May 24 The Associated Press with reference to the Ministry of Health of the country. The total number of deaths among those infected with the new coronavirus infection was 764 cases, according to the latest data. There were 752 new cases in the country, bringing the total number of people infected to 17,265. During the whole period of the epidemic, 4,807 people were cured in Egypt. Restrictive measures imposed by the Egyptian Government on the new coronavirus were tightened for the duration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday (Uraza Bayram), with a night curfew imposed, the movement of public and private transport banned and mosques closed. According to the news agency, over the past 24 hours, 28 deaths from COVID-19 have been identified.
