The curfew in the capital of Algeria was imposed from 15:00 to 07:00 (local time), reported April 5, AfricaNews. The same regime is in place in eight other Algerian provinces, while most of the Algerian territory is under curfew from 19:00 to 07:00 (local time). Such measures, announced by Algerian Prime Minister Abdelaziz Jerrad on 5 April, have been introduced against the backdrop of a pandemic. As previously reported by the news agency, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Algeria is 1,251, with 25 deaths.

The court determined a preventive measure to the son of the ex-prime minister of Georgia

On August 4, the Tbilisi city court issued a preventive measure to the son of the former Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Zhvania, Bessarion Zhvania, and awarded him detention. The defense at the meeting demanded his release on bail in the amount of 50,000 lari, which the court did not agree with. According to the prosecutor's office of Georgia, Bessarion (Busa) Zhvania is accused of trying to intentionally kill the grandson of Georgian businessman Gogi Topadze Levan Topadze. In the house of the latter, which the prosecutor's office recognized as injured, Busa Zhvania stabbed Levan Topadze several times, as a result of which he is still in serious condition, in intensive care, after several operations.
